For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us (Isaiah 33:22).

Who is it (or what is it) that I depend on? Surely that in which I trust is that which I believe?  In short my life is guided by that in which I believe and the way I live, together with the confessions of my mouth, reveal the foundation of my heart; or using modern speak, reveal our world view.

The following has caused me to consider modern day, "outreach" or "ministry" and to ask, "Is this really the leading and work of God?", and if not, "What should in look like?"

I have been wrestling with the fact that considering we live in a so called enlightened and liberated period that the Church (or maybe in this case it needs to be referred to as the church) has removed itself so far from God's truth, allowing the wisdom and truth of God to be replace by a flawed and corrupt logic and the folly of man.

Just a short though regarding the following verse that I read the other day.

Matthew 11:5
The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
